Department of Pharmacy

In the department of Pharmacy the course of B.Pharm (from 2005), is affiliated to UPTU, approved by AICTE and PCI. Now in its 10 years of growth, the department is approved for animal house from CPCSEA, for 100 intake from PCI and as an approved Ph.D. centre (UPTU). The UPTU has approved B. Pharma with 100 seats (2010) and M. Pharma (Pharmaceutics) with 36 seats & (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) (2010) with 18 seats.

In the department, the academic performance during 2011-12 was with university 10th rank in B. Pharma Final year, University 1st, 4th& 7th in 3rd year, University 7th rank in 2nd year leading to a scholarship amount of Rs. 2.25 Lakhs for B. Pharma and Rs. 0.1 Lakhfor M. Pharma from our management. During session 2013-14 University First rank, University Seventh rank, University Eleventh rank and University Thirteen rank were bagged by Final B.Pharm students.

The institute has received 2AICTE seminar grants to a tune of 2.20 lakhs, 1 IPR awareness programme of 1 lakh from MSME in 2013-14. We are likely to receive Business Incubator approved from MSME in 2014-15 as we have presented our proposal.
